Congrats to my client Pace

Yay! My client Pace made it into the FT1000 list of fastest-growing companies - at 24th position overall and 2nd among consultancies!


Pace were barely a year old and only 14 people when Joe Barrs brought me in to support the startup in all things Industry Analyst Relations management. Fast forward four years: Pace has more than 80 employees, a thriving business, and it's winning awards.


We started the analyst relations journey in Pace’s earliest days with a “Get-on-the-Radar” project. Nothing was polished back then, but: We were able to explain relevant observations about buy-side frustrations, Pace’s compelling principles and an early roadmap. So we identified the best-fitting industry analysts, got on their calendars and ran introductory briefings with them. All gave us brilliant feedback and valuable insights.


This problem-solution-fit validation encouraged Founder Tim Bretman to skip the phase of “Minimal-viable AR” that’s normally popular with startups and go all-in with my “Strategic AR” programme: Find the right startup subscription for access to latest analyst research, playbooks and unlimited inquiry rights - and use the hell out of it:


Strategy, positioning, messaging, scalable operations, product development, talent acquisition - we used AR to accelerate and level-up everything.
